micro1 data partnerships explained: Enterprise vs Defunct
Short answer: micro1 publishes two main company tracks — Enterprise (operational data from established businesses) and Defunct (data from companies that are no longer operating) — plus other partnerships at 7.5%. Company compensation for approved packages is published as $100K–$2M+. Referral rewards differ by track ($50K / $75K thresholds, then 7.5%). Data Licensing Introductions is an independent UK introducer paid commission by micro1 when an attributed introduction succeeds; we don’t charge you a fee for this introduction, and nothing here is a guaranteed payout.

Referral reward published: $50,000 on deals up to $700,000, or 7.5% above that.
Defunct Company Data Partnership
Acquiring data from companies that are no longer operating. The referral page does not use the words “dissolved” or “insolvent”.

English
Referral reward published: $75,000 on deals up to $1 million, or 7.5% above that.
Do not apply Enterprise geography (“US first…”) to Defunct. micro1 decides who is accepted after its own review.
Company compensation vs referral reward
Company compensation (what the company / estate side may receive for an approved package) is published as $100K–$2M+ on the referral cards. It is not a valuation and not a guarantee.
Referral rewards are what micro1 may pay an introducer after the referred company’s data has been transferred and approved, on the thresholds above. Other partnerships not listed in the portal still use 7.5% of deal value on micro1’s published FAQ.
Data Licensing Introductions is based in Scotland and works across the UK. We:
explain Enterprise vs Defunct in plain English;
help you stay high-level until authority and privacy questions are clear;
provide our referral link so registration can be attributed correctly;
do not pretend to be micro1 staff, and do not decide acceptance or price.
Think of us like a mortgage broker: we introduce you; micro1 puts the deal together with you. Commission, if any, is paid by micro1 to us — not taken as a fee from you for this introduction pathway.
FAQ
Is the referral reward paid to the company?
No. Published referral rewards are for the referrer. Company compensation is a separate published range for approved packages.
Can you apply on our behalf?
micro1’s rules say companies must complete their own applications; manual introductions do not replace the official process. Registration through the unique referral link matters for attribution.
